Mos Def, gentrification, awareness, etc.

Here, dear friends, for those of you who were wanting me to send you a link:
Stuff White People Like.

This kind of satire is like shooting fish in a barrel, but it's still pretty damn funny. Especially if you went to a liberal arts school (or loathe people who did).

  1. That site is hilarious.

Today I bought dried fruit to put in my oatmeal, because of you.

    Have a great week!

  2. I've been wondering about the demographic of this blog's author. It must be a takes-one-to-know-one situation.

Wouldn't it be a bummer if steel cut oats were on the list?

Btw, I bought some. Haven't cooked 'em yet.

  3. I would be extremely surprised if the blog's author were anything other than a hipster dude who is going to end up having a baby with his girlfriend and moving to Park Slope Brooklyn. Together they will run a design business out of their home. She'll be the art girl, he'll be the computer guy. I'm just sayin.

  4. Also, even though the blog purports to be stuff white people like, it's limited to educated self-described liberals, which is pretty interesting--that that would be the de facto White Person.

  5. I'm having an identity crisis. I think I might not be white!

  6. Funny, funny, funny: this is about every white person I've met since college (liberal arts school, of course). Thanks for the diversion!
