I'm mostly Japanese, I really think so.

You will be too, if you use the celebrity face matching bullshit at MyHeritage. This example doesn't really reflect the true extent of my japanesity, though, I'm realizing. I did two other pictures besides this one. This was the only one I bothered to save last night. Anyway.

In way, way, WAY more exciting news, my sister Em has a blog.

It's called Piefinger.

She's posted one entry and it's funnier than my entire blog.

  1. But were you not Chinese in "Nixon in China"? And Japanese in "Butterfly"?

  2. I think the Camilla Belle comparison is a good one. AND they matched you with a Buffy-era Alyson Hannigan! Did you try the "morph" application on this? SO awesome.

also, re: my blog, not true. But thanks.

  3. ALSO I did this and got like teen queens ONLY.
Hilary Duff, Jamie Lynn Spears, Ashley Tisdale, Christie Brinkley (I realize no longer a teen queen), and then Juliette Binoche. What?!

  5. They gave me Sophia Loren - awesome! But it was a picture of her at 60. But still! I also got Brigitte Bardot, which is EVEN MORE AWESOME, but now I know they're lying to me so I feel all good about myself and spend money at their site. I got Delta Goodrem twice, but I don't know who that is. Domo arigato.

  6. If you look closely you will notice that the "face matching" has more to do with the angle of your photo and how your hair is parted than any other descriptors. High tech!
