My grandma.

My grandma died peacefully, at home, with family, after just a few weeks of home hospice care.

"Tomorrow is a special day," she inexplicably told her youngest daughter yesterday. And she was right.

  3. Dang she was so cool! That hat, those bikes! I can see the family resemblance. Really really sorry for your loss MH.

  4. Thanks y'all.

I feel compelled to note that the hat is actually a rug (according to the writing on the back of the photo), crocheted by her sister. That actually makes it cooler, right?

  9. BFS, no worries. I didn't want to talk about it because a) I knew I would cry if people were nice to me and b) I didn't want to be like "oh hi, death in the family, now let's have a fun benefit concert wooo!"

    I appreciate all y'all's sympathy.

  12. KA, I thought I commented on this, and I was coming back to comment AGAIN. I'm such an admirer of your loving family. Love to her and to all of you. The photos are wonderful, especially the bike one, and the one of her dancing with Hobby. XO.
